Multiplication Times Table Chart Numbers In Rainbow Colors 0 – 12 Letter Size Printable

This chart times table is color family coordinated, to help a child memorize the multiplication application process.

I organized the sheet printable, so that the child could use the color families to help identify which direction to go. And I used the color wheel, 12 colors, primary with secondary and tertiary colors between, where the colors go from pink, then cooler, and then get warmer and the numbers and their answers get higher.

I wanted to help the little girl that I watch learn her multiplication problems better, and since she loves art, I figured that I’d make the times table more visually appealing as well, to help her learn, and memorize. And she still uses it!

Original price was: $3.00.Current price is: $2.40.

Multiplication Times Table Chart Numbers In Rainbow Colors 0 – 12 Letter Size Printable

This chart times table is color family coordinated, to help a child memorize the multiplication application process.

There is a red “X” in the top left corner, indicating that the child will be multiplying numbers. The child can find the number on the left column vertical side, go to the “X” for multiplication to remind them to multiply, then find the number in the horizontal row up top, to multiply the numbers.

I organized the sheet printable, so that the child could use the color families to help identify which direction to go. And I used the color wheel, 12 colors, primary with secondary and tertiary colors between, where the colors go from pink, then cooler, and then get warmer and the numbers and their answers get higher.

I used “comic sans” font, for easy reading, however I do have printables for addition and multiplication, using my “Fabric Font”, for fun, and to introduce the child to a different font to get their eyes to help mix things up visually, and give the child a chance to see other fonts. I sell the “Fabric Font” in my store, that you can download and install on your device, that installs to all of your programs / apps that allow for you to change the font, for the added benefit of breaking the monotony in fonts, and add some visual flair to your displays and printables.

Also, the numbers contrast yet compliment the color block that they are situated in. So, if the block is a bright red, the number will be a very light green, for contrast. If a block is yellow, a dark purple is used for the number. I’m using complimentary color families, to help them find, and hopefully help them remember their multiplication time tables.

And where one number is multiplied by itself, the 6s, 6×6 for example, I darkened that block, for all number families.

I wanted to help the little girl that I watch learn her multiplication problems better, and since she loves art, I figured that I’d make the times table more visually appealing as well, to help her learn, and memorize.

Hopefully, I can figure out a way to create a printable showing the application of multiplication, a more left brained, computer science language based version of learning math functions soon, with a visual art way of learning. I’m right brained myself, and as an artist, I’ve found in the way that I learn, is that I need visuals, icons, a more artful way to grasp and hold on to the info that I learn.

My coder brother once told me that coding, which involves math, is a language, and once you figure out that language, you will “get it”. I’ve noticed that my nephew’s 1st grade teacher applied her teach of math with that concept, treating it like a language. Now, if I can get the teachings, the application to be grasped for those of us more right brain, and visually learning, that would be a great goal.

I used this technique in the color wheel clock telling time printable, and the “fidget spinner” / sensory toy, both sold in my store, where I broke the hour / 5 minute intervals into the 12 colors / color wheel, with movable hands that stay in place, even with the clock spins! Kids like them! My nephew even demonstrated it, and the video is on my Youtube channel.

Thank you!
